Workin' it out, one bead of sweat at a time!

Well, you will all be happy to know I had a MUCH better week this week working out. Although my knee is still bothering me, not the pain like it was :o) yippeeee!
I even tried running on the treadmill, which I haven't in weeks and I think Laura almost toppled over when I said I wanted to try instead of walking lol although running is easier than the incline set at a 9!!!! I thought I was going to fall off the end of the treadmill, and who would believe me if I said I had face burn from that lol
The MOST exciting thing this week was if you remember me talking about the glute/ham machine that I really struggled with last time, almost a month ago I think. It made me more sore than ANY OTHER THING I had ever done and for 5 days!! Well I did it this week and I did it well! and I'm not even sore woohoo Well don't get too excited, I'm not sore from that but my shoulders are killing me from other things lol and I'll give that another woohoo cuz it's nice 2 know things are working, hence the good hurt is awesome!! ;)
I also tried a new thing this week, the MMA class at Ironworks Gym. Gina and I went 2 days and completely LOVED IT! Unfortunately I can't continue with it because I can't afford it right now :( But if you have the funds, I highly recommend it! Someday I hope to add it 1 day a week between my 3 days of bootcamp. It was AWESOME cardio and fun and different! Gina and I got 2 kick the shit out of each other lol and get out ur frustrations in a safe and fun way. We laughed a LOT which I don't know if everyone else there loved, but whatever hehe
ALSO I hit the 15 pounds loss yesterday and was soooo excited! Aren't you excited for me? well if you aren't GET THERE 4 ME WILL YA! That is since I started working out the week b4 Christmas! We are in week 10 now for the 12 week weight loss challenge, so hopefully it goes really well for the last 3 weeks! I can't wait 2 c the final results 4 myself and 4 everyone else! You should c everyone that has been working so hard, it's shows like u wouldn't believe! I see woman on Sundays that I won't see all week and you can actually see what's changing in a week! My friend Gina was doing a plank the other day and her triceps were popping out! and Lynn who I see on Sundays has big changes all over, but her legs are looking fantastic! Plus she impresses me with her stamina running on the treadmill, I strive to be like that someday! and Michelle hasn't been coming as long as some of us but she surpasses a lot of us with her dips! I couldn't believe the way she knocked those out this week! I can see how hard some things are 4 people, it's the cardio 4 me and other things 4 some others, but Laura is so perfect at saying exactly what we need 2 hear 2 motivate us that we push through and accomplish what we did NOT think we could possibly do. When I say that, I mean I have said it and heard just about every other woman there at one point say I can't do this, yet with her words and the cheers of our fellow bootcampers, we get it done and I LOVE 2 c the excitement and pride on our faces when we actually do it. It is the BEST feeling! I have been a person that just says screw it, if I think it's hard or I worry I will fail, better not 2 try was my motto I guess and now thanks 2 all of this, I have completely changed my mind set. That is something I will always have and it will help me in my every day life, not just working out. Forever grateful! Keep up the GREAT work Ladies! I'll c u at the gym!!! xoxo
